Artemide's Tolomeo collection of lighting is the architect's standard of modern classic lighting design. The Tolomeo design is based on the simple yet elegant structure of a cantilevered arm, and a system of spring cable balancing. Tolomeo's fully adjustable, articulated arm and body structure is constructed in extruded, natural anodized aluminum, with all joints, tension control knobs, and mountings, in polished die-cast aluminum. Stainless steel cables support the arm, and a weighted steel base with polished aluminum cover support the whole structure. Tolomeo shades are available in parchment paper or pale gray satin.
Tolomeo Mega Terra is a large scale floor lamp, standing 238 cm, and with a full arm reach of 196 cm. The Tolomeo Mega shade is available in a diameter of 32 cm, 36 cm, and 42 cm.
