Inspired by the industrial lamps of miners and workers, Diesel creates a gritty, underground aesthetic for its Cage series of lighting for Foscarini. Thanks to its artisan craftsmanship, the lamp's protective cage becomes the decorative element, which can be seen in its irregular structure, and the colours that define it. In an all white body and diffuser cage,Cage gives off a fashionable glamour. In an all black body and diffuser cage, Cage gives a moodier, more industrial glam statement. In an all turquoise blue body and diffuser cage, Cage gives off a more 70's inspired pop-art soul. Each Cage colour choice is complimented by a choice of white, dark aubergine, or turquoise hand-blown glass diffuser. Cage Suspension uses a cage diameter of 46 cm, and including the downrod is 76 cm tall, with a maximum 180 cm drop.
