The Gervasoni Sweet collection, designed by Paola Navone, gives nod to fashion and playfulness, with its interaction of proportions, materials, and eclectic imagination.
Sweet 16 is a large scale sofa, characterized by a play of surprising proportions, in which the back and the armrests occupy significant volume to envelop the seat, almost as spacious resting surfaces themselves. Sweet 16 is draped in a loose, yet tailored, cotton slip, with layers of eleven back cushions in three different sizes: three are 80 cm x 80 cm, four are 60 cm x 60 cm, and another four are 50 cm x 50 cm. Sweet 16 stands 65 cm high, with a width of 260 cm, a depth of 130 cm, and a seat height of 38 cm.
