Modernica's Case Study expands its bedroom series with the new Alpine Bed. Inspired by alpine sports like skiing and toboganning, where strength, lightness and a strong graceful structure are crucial, Alpine is structured with the first frame to be built almost entirely of bentwood, giving it both fluidity and strength. The Alpine bed embodies efficient minimalism and craftsmanship, built to last for generations. This multi-layered bentwood bed uses twenty-two layers, consisting of twenty structural plys of 1 1/8" beech wood, and a top and bottom layer of North American Walnut veneer.
