Born from her continual exploration into three dimensional rug designs, Nani Marquina has found inspiration through polka-dots. The Topissimo is beautiful in its simplicity, and features a layered pattern of multi-coloured candy-like polka dots, giving volume to the design by lifting the polka dots out of the flat surface of the rug, into three dimensional balls. Hand made and hand tufted with a beautiful collage of colour and textured patterns, Topissimo gives a youthfull essence to the eyes, and an ethereal massage to the feet. Topissimo is available in two versions, either multi-coloured or two-tones of the same colour, enabling them to blend with a colourful as well as a neutral and delicate décor.
Multi coloured Topissimo, either red, purple, orange, and fuscia, or teal, petrol, navy, green and grey, comes in two sizes: 66"x93" or 78"x98". Simple two toned Topissimo, either in simple browns, simple oranges, simple fuscias, or simple ivory, comes in one size: 66"x93".
Nani Marquina is a member of Care and Fair, a European organization that fights against illegal child labour in the manufacturing sector of hand knotted carpets.
